Software Quality Engineer - PretoriaExpanding organisation is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the testing and qualification of their naval products and systems.As part of the testing team, you will work collaborativelyalongside the development engineers to test, debug and qualify naval products and systems.Qualifications:A degree in BEng Electronic Engineering or BEng Computer Engineering.0 to 5 years of experience in testing communication products, systems or softwareExperience:Experience or knowledge of HF radio communication products and systems.Experience with C/C++ (or other) software development in a Windows-based environment.Basic knowledge of using a Linux-based environment for (C++) development.Basic understanding of object-oriented software design and programming.Excellent verbal and written communication in English.Responsibilities:Establish and maintain test setups for diverse product and system configurations, including military applications.Collaborate closely with development engineers to test, debug and qualify products and systems.Write code for test platform software, sub-system and unit testing using C++ and Python.Analyse requirements and generate comprehensive test procedures, encompassing both manual and automated test methodologies.Coordinate and execute product testing.Produce test report documentation.Provide direct and advanced technical product support to clients.Offer remote and occasional on-site integration support to international clients.For more information please contact:Carol BritzApply
