Min Qualifications/Experience: Diploma/Bachelor Degree in related disciplines like business administration, supply chain management, engineering, and economics. Minimum 1 year of working experience in similar positions. Job Skills Required: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation skills and good financial understanding. Knowledgeable and familiar with using technology and systems. Able to collaborate effectively and good at analyzing. The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment. Duties & Responsibilities: Sourcing suppliers and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal. Purchasing goods, materials, components, or services. Supporting the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicating any supply problems that may impact business operations. Acting as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities. Monitoring and advising on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization. Liaising with suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time. Monitoring market trends and providing analysis on costs. Preparing reports and updates as required. Working closely with others in the procurement function. Negotiating contracts, improving prices and terms of business with suppliers, and reviewing opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods. Preparing and raising purchase orders and blanket orders. Building, maintaining, and managing supplier relationships and ensuring good communication. Ensuring a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships. Ensuring compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures during supplier negotiations and contracts award process. Conducting research for new components and suppliers. Compiling data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluation. Assessing and evaluating suppliers and contributing to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance. Contacting suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues. Other tasks assigned by Procurement Manager/General Manager. Purchaser Requirements: #J-18808-Ljbffr
