An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager in the Red Sea region , on a remote location.

About the Job:

To manage the business with the cost-effective procurement and delivery of products and services
Responsible for the day-to-day sourcing of new products
Prepare comparison of products including sampling where appropriate
Monitor and respond to supplier performance implementing appropriate corrective actions and advising of impending business risk.
Arrange and manage HOD’s meetings on a quarterly basis
Identify and maximize opportunities for cost and price reductions
Identify, propose and implement revenue generating initiatives where appropriate
Process and expedite purchase orders utilizing the companies’ procurement system as per the companies policy and procedures
Ensure all suppliers are in compliance with company policy and procedures
Prepare statistical and other reports in a comprehensive and accurate manner
Contribute to ideas and solutions for continuous contract development

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

University graduate with a postgraduate degree or Master's in Materials Management
Minimum of 5 years in a procurement function
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Experience working with reputable procurement software
