About Your Job You will be responsible for designing data models and standards across different data domains within the organization, promoting data consistency and accessibility for data analytics throughout the organization. You will lead the development, validation, publishing, and maintenance of conceptual, logical, and physical data models required for enterprise-wide data analytics. We need your knowledge of big data modeling best practices along with cross-industry data expertise and data modeling tool expertise. Key Responsibilities

Design and develop enterprise-level big data models to effectively organize and manage massive datasets.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable big data architectures and enterprise models for the organization’s big data warehouse, ensuring optimal performance.
Capture the physical enterprise data model, working with data solution architects to align with the conceptual and logical models.
Define and enforce data governance standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across the organization.
Evaluate and optimize data models for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Design and oversee the implementation of data modeling standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies for data modeling and management.
Assess existing data architectures, identify areas for improvement, and provide strategic recommendations.
Create documentation and diagrams illustrating data models, ensuring their accessibility and comprehensibility.
Ensure a holistic view of enterprise data architecture and data models for data analytics is maintained.
Collaborate with stakeholders and leverage strong business acumen to translate business requirements into modeling artifacts to build data products.
Work closely with data engineers, data solution architects, data scientists, data analysts, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of data architecture with business goals.
Implement metadata management practices to catalog and track data assets across the organization.
Stay up-to-date with the latest big data technologies and trends to ensure our data architecture remains innovative and competitive.
Implement standard processes for data modeling and warehouse design.
Mentor and train data engineers and data architects in big data modeling principles and practices.

8 years of experience in data architecture and modeling on Big Data, data warehouse, data analytics projects, and/or any Information Management related projects.
Prior experience building large scale enterprise big data models.
Strong proficiency in Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.) and related querying languages (SQL, HiveQL, etc.).
In-depth knowledge of big data modeling methodologies, including dimensional, star schema, and snowflake models.
Proven expertise in utilizing cloud-based big data platforms, particularly GCP.
Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluency in SQL and experience with data modeling tools.
Experience with data visualization tools.
Knowledge of airline domain will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of agile/lean development methodologies.
Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.
