Job Description Job Scope: Technical Support:
- Take an active role in setting up, operating, and maintaining audio, video, lighting equipment, and technical operations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time, ensuring minimal disruption to live shows & events and the daily operation.
- Alone or as part of a team, support production teams and event sales teams to meet technical requirements and ensure smooth operations of shows and events and the smooth running of the parks on a daily basis.
- Follow best practices for equipment setup, operation, and safety whilst adhering to the business's safety requirements.
- Conduct quality checks as required by the Maintenance Management System to maintain high standards of maintenance and operation and report any issues in a timely fashion.
- Report any issues that occur in a timely fashion to the shift supervisor.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the Entertainment technical team, supporting and guiding each other along with new team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with audio, video, lighting, and special effects equipment in a live entertainment or event production environment.
- Technical training or certification in Audiovisual Technology, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues under pressure.
- Theater background.
- Previously worked at a theme park.
