About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Director of Network and Security. The ideal candidate will possess multiple cybersecurity certifications, including CCIE and CISSP, with over 10 years of experience in network and security management. This leadership role is essential for maintaining the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our network and data systems. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive network and security strategies.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead incident response and manage the security framework.
- Conduct regular network security audits and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance security protocols.
- Manage and mentor a team of network and security professionals.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
- Required: CCIE certification.
- Preferred: CISSP certification, along with additional certifications like CISM, CEH, and CompTIA Security+.
- Additional certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, CompTIA Network+, GSEC, CCSP, OSCP, CISA, and CRISC are advantageous.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in network and security management.
- Extensive knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, VLANs, and security technologies.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing enterprise-grade Wi-Fi networks.
- Strong knowledge of network performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi Hotspot 2.0 (Passpoint) is a plus.
- Extensive experience with Cisco network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls, and proficiency in Cisco IOS and NX-OS.
- Experience with network management tools and platforms.
- Preferred knowledge of Palo Alto Networks and Check Point firewalls, advanced firewall features, cybersecurity solutions, PAM systems, phishing protection, BYOD policies, antivirus deployment, MDR services, SIEM systems, and cloud platforms like AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
