ABOUT THE FUNCTION You will play a vital role in delivering outstanding group exercise (GX) experiences across multiple locations. You’ll be responsible for managing GX timetables, maintaining brand standards, supporting instructors, and hitting performance targets. A key part of the role involves personally delivering group exercise classes across all assigned locations (IBUs), ensuring members are engaged and inspired. PERFORMANCE DRIVEN CULTURE: WHAT WILL YOU BE MEASURED AGAINST Operational Management

• Cluster Timetable Management: Create, maintain, and optimize group exercise timetables across assigned IBUs to maximize attendance and efficiency.
• Brand Standards & Quality Control: Ensure all GX classes and equipment meet brand standards and deliver exceptional members experiences. Conduct regular audits to maintain consistency and quality.
• Freelancer Management: Recruit, onboard, train, and manage freelance GX instructors. Ensure contractual compliance, performance monitoring, and class coverage.
• Contract Handling: Manage contracts for freelance instructors, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational policies.

Budget & Performance Management

• Budget Oversight: Manage and monitor the allocated IBU budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to financial targets.
• Performance Metrics: Track and analyze attendance, revenue, and other KPIs, providing actionable insights to improve cluster performance.
• Commission Consolidation: Oversee the calculation and consolidation of instructor commissions, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Liaison with GMs: Work closely with General Managers at individual sites to align GX programs and events with club-specific needs and objectives.
• Communication with Head of Fitness & Product: Provide regular reports and updates on operational performance, guest feedback, event outcomes, and program success.

Members Engagement

• Query & Complaint Resolution: Handle members requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Community Engagement: Support initiatives to enhance member engagement through GX programming, events, special activities, and promotional efforts.

Administrative Duties

• Maintain up-to-date records of instructor certifications, performance reviews, and attendance tracking.
• Coordinate marketing and promotional efforts for GX programs and events in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Assist in the roll-out of new GX initiatives or programs, ensuring a smooth implementation process across the cluster.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

• Proven experience in Group Exercise Management, ideally within a multi-site or cluster role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, freelancers, and members.
• Experience in planning and executing events, with strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance metrics and derive insights.
• Budget management experience with a focus on optimizing financial performance.
• Knowledge of group exercise trends, certifications, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant fitness management software.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Availability to travel between sites within the cluster as needed.
• Current certifications in internationally recognized group exercise formats.
• REPs certification.
• GEL/ETM certification.
