Shuttering Foreman

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Shuttering Foreman to oversee and manage all shuttering and formwork activities at our construction site.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and lead a team of shuttering carpenters and laborers.
2. Allocate tasks to team members and monitor daily activities.
3. Coordinate with other site supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
4. Read and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and formwork plans.
5. Oversee the installation, alignment, and dismantling of shuttering/formwork systems for various concrete structures, including slabs, columns, beams, and walls.
6. Ensure the proper use of formwork materials, tools, and equipment.
7. Inspect all formwork to ensure it meets design specifications and quality standards.
8. Ensure accuracy in measurements and alignment before concreting.
9. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
10. Conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox talks with the team.
11. Identify and address potential hazards on-site.
12. Plan and request materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
13. Maintain an inventory of shuttering materials and ensure their proper storage and handling.
14. Maintain records of daily work progress and report to the construction manager.
15. Address any on-site issues and provide solutions promptly.

1. Proven experience as a Shuttering/Formwork Foreman in construction projects.
2. Strong knowledge of formwork systems, techniques, and tools.
