Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies. We are also operating Sweden’s largest truck dedicated public charging network and counting. The Energy & Charging Infrastructure team is responsible for cross-regionally deploying charging infrastructure to enable electrification of heavy transport and we are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our team and be our first charging responsible in the UAE, responsible for the GCC region.
You will:
- Funnel in and develop Einride’s charging offering making sure it is innovative, seamless and scalable according to our customers' needs in the region.
- Own our charging business models and implement scalable charging deployment models with local resellers, installation and service partners.
- Coordinate the deployment of the first charging installations on customer sites, including hands-on technical problem solving and ensure the hypercare before hand-over to operations.
- Lead the dialogs with relevant stakeholders regarding our public charging offering in the UAE.
- Translate product and technical requirements into charging road maps and playbooks and be the charging team interface internally as well as externally (partnership set-up & management, customers, policy makers…).
- Project manage the roll-outs and expansion of Einride Smartcharger Stations including partnership management, commercialisation strategy of the stations and collaborate with key energy and charging stakeholders. Along with project partners managing key milestones, budgets and timelines, while ensuring ambitious, yet realistic projects are planned, managed, monitored, reviewed, and updated according to the requirements of the grid network.

We expect you to:
- Minimum 5 years of experience (2 of which in UAE or KSA) as an individual contributor and/or lead in one or more product or service companies that are on the forefront of either preferably charging infrastructure solutions or renewable energy.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Arabic would be a bonus.
- A proven track record of contributing or leading projects that requires both business and technical hands-on expertise.
- Take initiative on building new relevant business relationships or using your existing network to develop charging business opportunities.
- Be a team player and find the balance between working independently and collaborating with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Communicate efficiently, have the ability to produce executive summary to get quick decisions and move fast on opportunities.
- Solution oriented problem solver: you have a can-do attitude and thrive in finding a way out of complex situations.
- Be comfortable moving the tasks forward despite many uncertainties.
