Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Leading Systematic Hedge Fund - London

My client, a renowned systematic hedge fund with a global presence, is in search of a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to join their London team. As part of this low latency team, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining / developing the front office applications, directly contributing to trader's success. This involves handling large volumes of data for research purposes, and enhancing the reliability and speed of the evolving applications through automation and efficiency measures. The ideal candidate will have 5+ year's of experience and possess expertise in infrastructure automation, along with in-depth knowledge of Python and Linux, as well as proficiency in storage systems. My client are open to individuals that come from a background of technology, however it is preferred if an individual has had some financial experience. Given the collaborative nature of the role, effective communication skills are essential for interactions with investment teams, including PMs and traders.
