The role: Black Pepper are seeking a Retail Assistant to join our wonderful CARINDALE store! In this role, you will be supported by a great team who pride themselves on spoiling our customers with a unique and honest shopping experience that leaves them looking great and feeling fabulous! To achieve this, you:
- Create genuine in-store experiences with our customers to understand their needs - acting as a brand ambassador for the Black Pepper and Brand Collective businesses.
- Style customers to ensure they look and feel great - contributing to the store sales and KPI targets.
- Participate in store events (such as morning teas and charity events).
- Assist the team in the day-to-day running of the store (visual merchandising, cleaning, and administration tasks).
- Contribute to a well-organized stock room and use ladders to retrieve stock from a height (comfortability doing so is a must).
- Passion for providing style advice to make a difference in our customers' lives and make their day!
- Experience in a customer-facing sales/retail role in a team environment.
- Able to commit to a shift pattern & some flexibility to assist in peak trade periods.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Point of Sale systems, and EFTPOS facilities.
- You can adapt your selling style to meet the needs of the customer in front of you.
