Quality Manager - Rolling FTC £60,000 - £80,000 dependent on experience Locations: High Peak: Chapel-en-le-Frith An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to join a leading global player in the automotive manufacturing sector. This is your chance to make an impact by driving product quality excellence and continuous improvement within a dynamic and growing business. As the Quality Manager, you'll ensure product conformity, manage audit programmes, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. You'll work closely with teams to maintain high-quality standards and resolve any customer issues, all while overseeing compliance with key industry regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Quality Management System IATF16949 ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Manage internal and external audits to comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
  • Apply core quality tools (e.g., FMEA, PPAP, SPC) to ensure product quality.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts for customer claims.
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce non-conformities and associated costs.
  • Provide training on quality methodologies and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage changes effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in Quality Management in the automotive sector.
  • IATF 16949 Auditor experience and strong leadership skills.
  • Team management experience
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing and applying quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, SPC, etc.).
  • Lean Six Sigma exposure
  • Product Launch or Project Management experience
