The Performance Director role is an exciting and unique role within the planning team, focused on getting the best outcomes for client campaigns across both online and offline channels. Sitting above the operations of the account, the Performance Director gets the most out of all available data, technology and measurement, bringing new solutions to the account that sit on the cutting edge of media. It's about problem solving and finding new ways to deliver incremental improvements, ensuring that our clients are getting the most out of modern day media. The Performance Director is a data and technology expert, responsible for achieving more out of our planning. This role is not a technical specialist, digital support or reporting expert. Rather it is a leadership role that will direct the comms and implementation planning direction, helping to use data and technology more effectively.
What you'll do:
- Maximise the use of available data, technology and measurement, to build outcome led media solutions, that deliver incrementality in brand and performance results
- In conjunction with the transformation strategy built by the Transformation Director, operationalise and build value from all available data and technology solutions
- Develop strategic performance frameworks, including forecasting, bottoms-up planning and statistics-led test and learn
- Deliver incrementality in our results in our media planning, through more effective use of data/technology in brand, performance or full-funnel media
- Support the planning team in the creation and application of clear measurement structures, that can run across brand and performance media
- Enable the planning teams to deliver improved tactics, that deliver to brand and performance goals
- Monitor the market and ensure that opportunities and challenges in the broader technology landscape are forward planned
What you'll need:
- You have strong knowledge of programmatic and social with in-platform experience strongly preferred
- You have fundamental knowledge of other digital disciplines including SEM, SEO, tracking and attribution and web analytics
- Are someone with high levels of attention to detail and organisation
- Strong competency in leading client relationship and conveying digital media strategies and recommendations
- Experience in digital planning to deliver to Brand outcomes strongly preferred
- Must be able to work collaboratively with others to deliver a comprehensive recommendation
