Join the Cancer Services team at Latrobe Regional Health, where a ‘world of opportunities awaits'. Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for a dedicated Medical Oncologist to join our team on an ongoing, part time, basis. The role of the Medical Oncologist is to provide high quality, clinical care to the patients of Latrobe Regional Health services, to supervise and train Junior Medical Staff and support LRH's Strategic priorities. About you Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • MBBS or equivalent.
  • Registration with the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia.
  • Fellowship of RACP in Medical Oncology.
  • Additional Postgraduate education in public health, research or management.
  • Demonstrated clinical ability commensurate with that expected of a Medical Oncologist.
  • Ability to communicate with patients and their carers with respect and empathy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with other staff including management, senior and junior medical staff, nursing staff and students in a respectful, supportive and cooperative manner.
