Known for its expertise in advanced manufacturing techniques, including ultrasonic welding, the company also provides rapid-response support for on-site breakdowns, commissioning, and production modifications. Role Overview The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for mechanical assembly and precision machining in a full-time, role based in Essex. The position requires hands-on experience in manufacturing environments and a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical assembly of machines and fixtures.
• Utilize manual machining tools and processes.
• Read and interpret CAD drawings for assembly and modifications.
• Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical components.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Assist with commissioning, modifications, and on-site support as required.

• Proficiency in manual machining and mechanical assembly.
• A background as a time-served toolmaker is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of maintenance best practices.
• Ability to read and work from CAD drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience with automated machine systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
