Based at our Manawatū Campus in Palmerston North , this role offers a salary range of $94,210 – $126,536, reflecting the experience and expertise of the successful candidate. This is a key position in a dynamic five-person team, focused on enhancing and sustaining organisational safety and wellbeing across the university. As a strategic leader and business partner, you will: About You: You are an experienced OHSW practitioner with a strong human and organisational performance (HOP) mindset. You bring: - A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience in strategic safety leadership and risk management . - Strong relationship-building skills , with the ability to influence senior leaders and key stakeholders. - Knowledge of safety governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks in a large organisation. - A passion for innovation in workplace safety and a commitment to hauora and wellbeing .
