•Position: Warehouse Operations Assistant.•No. of vacancy available: 3•Salary: RM 1600-2000.•Work location: North Port, West Port-Port Klang, Selangor.
Chrisjac Recruitment team is assisting an established freight forwarding and logistics company (3rd party logistics) to recruit several Warehouse Operations Assistant/Clerk in Port Klang area.The vacancies are permanent positions and form part of the warehouse operation team to manage the cargo/shipments that have been imported or to be exported.Duties & RolesAs Warehouse Operations Clerk, you will be responsible to carry out the following duties:·Perform and verification check activities of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records. ·Carry out verification checks on customer order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.·Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages and correspond with shippers to rectify damages and shortages. ·Record shipment information/data, such as weight, measurements, charges ·Pack shipping containers, creating shipping labels and shipping documents.·Loading and unloading of goods/shipment cargo.·Generate and maintain accurate shipping/receiving documentation.The candidate·Malaysian Male/Female in age group 21-35.·Punctual with positive work ethic.·Physically fit with ability to lift and carry.·Minimum qualification: SPM.·Forklift license would be useful and necessary.·Computer literate.·2-3 years of previous work experience in warehouse and/or shipping industry.
