Drafting & Engineering Document Record Coordinator
About the role Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this position is responsible for managing the information processes that improve the reliability and availability of engineering information to Tasman Mill personnel. This includes maintaining and updating engineering drawings, records, and manuals. Key responsibilities include managing the accuracy, accessibility, and security of engineering documents across the Mill. To be successful in this role, you will need keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the business. Your responsibilities will include:- Ensure compliance with EHS&R standards and follow best practices.
- Manage the storage, maintenance, and development of the engineering database.
- Track and manage tasks to ensure they stay on time and within budget, taking action when needed.
- Recommend and maintain efficient, cost-effective information management systems.
- Use AutoCAD and/or similar software.
- Organize and store information in a logical and accessible way.

- Experience with information systems or document control.
- Comfortable using electronic data systems and web-based platforms for managing and retrieving information.
- Intermediate level of experience with CAD drawing.
- Background in engineering or past experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, and focus on delivering quality results.
