Audit Team Lead

• Develop and implement audit plans to assess financial, operational, and compliance risks.
• Conduct store audits, warehouse audits, and supply chain reviews to ensure adherence to company policies.
• Evaluate inventory management, procurement, and sales processes to detect irregularities or inefficiencies.
• Lead and mentor a team of auditors, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of audits.
• Provide training and guidance to enhance audit team capabilities.
• Identify gaps in internal controls and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with FMCG industry regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal policies .
• Monitor fraud detection mechanisms and investigate suspicious activities.
• Prepare audit reports with findings, risk assessments, and recommendations for process improvement.
• Present audit results to senior management and assist in the development of action plans.
• Stay updated with FMCG industry trends and regulatory changes .
• Recommend process enhancements to improve financial transparency and operational efficiency.

• Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (ACCA, CA, or CIA certification preferred).
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in FMCG or retail.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of audit standards, financial controls, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks.
• Analytical Abilities: Ability to identify risks, assess control effectiveness, and recommend solutions.
• Leadership Skills: Experience in leading audit teams and managing multiple audits simultaneously.
• Communication Skills: Strong reporting, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Tools & Systems: Proficiency in audit software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
