Business Insights Leader

We are seeking an experienced, tech-savvy, data and finance expert with a business acumen. This role is pivotal in enabling data-driven decision-making to drive the business priorities. The ideal candidate will blend financial expertise with a deep understanding of data analytics to generate actionable insights and optimize strategic financial planning. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis, reporting & Business Insights

• Apply advanced data analytics, predictive & prescriptive methodologies / tools to process, analyze & identify trends / anomalies to derive business insights from various data sources within the organization & the larger Yum ecosystem.
• Develop, maintain & continuously improve financial dashboards, KPIs, and business intelligence reports that track commercial performance and highlight trends.
• Ensure timely and reliable availability of KPI dashboard at designed frequency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data findings into strategic actionable insights and jointly ensure alignment on these insights to drive data-driven decision making across the organization.

Commercial Planning & Strategic Financial Analysis

• Engage in strategic planning and data driven decision making along with the CFO
• Drive long-term planning and forecasting processes, aligning commercial initiatives with KFC’s overall business strategy.
• Create models and reports (eg regression analysis) to monitor key financial metrics, providing insights to influence decision-making.
• Provide scenario analyses to assess potential outcomes and make recommendations for optimal financial performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Tech / Engineering
• 11-13 years of experience in financial planning, data analytics, or a similar role
• Proven track record of successfully leading the Commercial planning/Strategy function in a global consulting organization/FMCG / new age tech organization
• Proven track record in converting complex data into business trends, derive insights and steer discussions / actions needed
• High business acumen and business partnering skills to influence data based decision making at all levels ( Franchisee, Yum Leadership team )
• Proficiency in financial modelling, advanced Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data, analyze trends, and produce actionable business insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting financial and data insights to senior leadership.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and within a team
