Job description :
- Proactively, research and develop vendors for Metals, Liquids, plastics, foams and powders characterization techniques.
- Should be able to learn and understand the technical aspects of the characterization techniques and deal with the vendors without major support from technical team
- Establish positive relationship with vendors
- Act as a primary point of contact for vendor related issues may it be technical or managerial
- Negotiate terms, Pricing and coordinate contract signing for NDA with vendors
- Identify and implement improvements for to optimize vendor efficiency
- Source and onboard new vendors as per the business requirement
- Analyse cost structures and identify cost saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate vendor records which includes cost and TAT, agreements, and performance reports
- Proactively present regular updates to management on the status of vendor development and risks associated with them.
