Work Arrangement: WFH (1 month onsite training) Work Shift: Mon-Fri, 6:00am-3:00pm PST (10pm-7am PH) Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled IT Systems Engineer to provide advanced technical support and resolution for our clients in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. This role involves handling more complex technical issues, troubleshooting software and network problems, and ensuring client systems operate smoothly. You will work closely with Level 1 engineers, guiding them on escalated issues while maintaining direct communication with clients. About the Job

  • User Account Management: Handle password resets, troubleshoot 2FA issues, and provide user access to necessary resources (Office 365, applications, file shares).
  • Software Support: Perform updates and troubleshooting for applications such as QuickBooks, Pro Systems, and Citrix.
  • Office 365 Authentication: Resolve Office 365 authentication issues, including login problems and account synchronization.
  • Networking & Remote Access Support: Diagnose and resolve basic network issues using UniFi controller, and handle issues with remote connections (VPN, RDP, etc.).
  • Email & Communication Systems: Troubleshoot and resolve Outlook performance issues (slow, freezing), email flow problems, and scan-to-email functionality.
  • System-Wide Outages: Investigate system-wide outages, escalate to the appropriate teams, and coordinate with ISPs for circuit outages and service restoration.
  • Printer Support: Install and configure network printers, ensuring proper functionality across the network.
  • Incident Escalation & Documentation: Accurately document incidents, actions taken, and resolutions within the ticketing system, escalating complex issues to senior engineers as needed.
  • Client Communication: Provide clear and professional updates to clients on issue status and resolution progress.
Your Qualification
  • Strong experience with troubleshooting software, network, and hardware issues.
  • Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, Citrix, EntraID and Azure Services.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including troubleshooting using UniFi controller and VPN/RDP access.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical details to non-technical users.
  • Experience in an MSP environment or providing IT support services.
  • Experience with accounting software platforms (QuickBooks\ProSystems\LaCerte) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with intermediate desktop and server troubleshooting
Preferred Skills:
  • Certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified, Citrix, etc.).
  • Experience working with email systems, network printers, and cloud-based technologies.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise, ServiceNow).
