We are currently partnering with a Multinational client who is urgently seeking a Senior HR Director to lead and manage the HR function within KSA. This role will have a particular focus on policies and activities in the areas of talent management, learning and development, salary structures, employee relations, government relations, as well as driving the Saudization targets for the company within the Kingdom. The HR Director will also work on strategic projects with the wider regional HR team implementing corporate and regional HR initiatives. Other Areas of Responsibility:

  • Implement local and corporate Employee Relations Policies and Procedures and ensure that they comply with the Labor Laws.
  • Advise on the settlement of disputes within the country and negotiations with employees, which may, subject to the skills, competence, and experience of the HR Director, include representation of the company's interest at labour court hearings.
  • Responsible for assessing and interpreting the implications of new legislation or changes in employee relations practices within the country and providing advice to the Country Manager, relevant line managers, and the Regional VP as required.
  • Responsible for implementing salary structures as determined at the regional level.
  • Responsible for implementing the company policy in respect of the compensation review system of salary determination.
  • Coordinate career development plans with the Global L&D team and implement as appropriate.
  • Assist the regional HR team in implementing the company policy in respect of training and development of staff.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team with implementing local recruitment and selection procedures for all categories and levels of employees within KSA.
Experience & Competencies Required:
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills in English & Arabic.
  • Team management - previous experience of managing a large core HR team.
  • Exposure to working within an international/multinational environment is preferred.
  • Strong track record in advising and influencing senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10-15+ years significant experience in a senior HR role, with at least 3-5 years at Director/Leadership level.
  • Proven ability to drive HR initiatives and strategies that align with business goals.
  • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD, PHR) are advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong competency in negotiation, performance management, appraising, assessing, motivating, and developing an HR team.
