The European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Sales and Marketing Group (SMG) is an international team of sales and marketing professionals spanning both commercial and technical sales, Industry Centre of Excellence teams, marketing, and sales operations. It's a very fast paced, dynamic, and exciting environment. We are looking for a technical and architectural expert with a broad technology knowledge in server, storage, and network architecture and a specialization in AI, large language models, and fine-tuning to work across our organization, partners, and customers to solve their key business challenges. You will lead the most complex and challenging customer's Data Center design, Gen AI, and LLM workloads deployment in the Middle East and define ecosystem solutions that showcase Intel's products and technologies. You will demonstrate Customer Obsession, representing the voice of the customer as you work across teams and partners. You will have the opportunity to speak at conferences, publish articles, and serve as the compass in Intel's products and solutions. In this technical sales role, a successful candidate will be responsible for:- Influencing and driving adoption and preference for Intel-based solutions for Artificial Intelligence across different verticals.
- Driving Intel Data Centre Architecture adoption that showcases Intel's advanced products and technologies, utilized in several related workloads (DB, Storage, Data analytics, and AI).
- Helping drive revenue growth by accelerating the adoption of Intel-based AI solutions architectures that showcase Intel's advanced products and technologies for Gen AI and Large language models.
- Synthesizing data about customer and partner business and technical requirements, addressing them with technical architectures, and demonstrating capabilities of Intel solutions through design sessions with the customer/partner.
- Supporting Regional Sales Account Executives and Industry Technical Specialists in design and deal win engagements in Data Centre applications and Artificial Intelligence projects by delivering Intel solution, platform, and portfolio value propositions and providing ongoing technical support on briefings.
- Working with customers to enable their workload on Intel products utilizing new features and technology capabilities that maximize the customer ROI when deploying on Intel special features.
- Building and setting up AI environments, workloads, and frameworks with the latest Intel AI technologies and products to deploy AI use cases (Gen AI and LLM). Architecting end-to-end AI solutions to solve the most complex customer problems using Intel-based products.
- Understanding business use cases, technical merits, and TCO Intel value propositions on Data Centre architecture and AI, as well as the competitive landscape. Identifying gaps and opportunities, and putting in place strategies to address, win, and deploy solutions based on Intel AI technologies.
- Managing end-customer technical relationships, providing technical expertise with customers, technology partners/ISVs/Sis/CSP/OEM, and Intel business unit development teams to create new solutions, software, and service optimizations through technical engagement and utilization of Intel product capabilities across the solution stack.
- Providing regular training for technology partners/ISVs/Sis/CSP/OEM to allow them to extend the reach for Intel products.
- Enabling development and growth of product features through customer feedback and proof-of-concept evaluations.
- Employing 'solution selling' methodologies to influence within the customer organization and Intel and drive customer requirements and market needs into actionable goals.
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of Data Centre application architecture/use cases and Artificial Intelligence for Gen AI and LLM technologies. Possessing a strong understanding of various architectures and use cases.
- Delivering large scale complex Data Centre related solutions deployed either on premises or on 3rd party cloud (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
- Working in a collaborative team environment, coordinating the right resources to get the job done, taking ownership, or handing off where appropriate.
- Demonstrating knowledge of cloud computing, HPC, software-defined storage, and data analytics and proven understanding of server and accelerator software ecosystem.
- Proven experience in the setup and configuration of server systems including software, networking, and storage infrastructure.
- Experience in application/workload profiling, tuning, and performance assessment.
- Learning from, collaborating with, and influencing the brightest technical minds in the industry to share best-practice knowledge amongst the AI community (within Intel and ecosystem partners).
- Encapsulating customer/market feedback into the Intel business units/development teams to shape future products/technologies.
- Utilizing excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks in a very interrupt-driven environment including pipeline management.
- Staying current and familiar with emerging vertical and horizontal technologies, products, and technology trends.
- Thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Demonstrating strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. Good relationship-building skills are necessary, including the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of Intel and the customer.
Qualifications
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a technical sales role within a medium to large organization with a strong track record of selling technical solutions, with experience in one or more of the following:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Defining Data Centre/Cloud solutions architectures working with ecosystem players to drive value for customers.
- Using the mixed approach (On-prem/Cloud) deployment model to maximize the benefits of the Infrastructure and combine it with the best available PaaS/SaaS in the public cloud.
- Building/Deploying AI models that have gone into production, both classical machine learning, deep learning, Gen AI, and large language models.
- AI inference and training on-prem and in the cloud, on GPU and on CPU - AI deployments at scale at the edge and across verticals (healthcare, FSI, retail, manufacturing, etc.).
- Understanding/Deployment of Microservice-based architecture using open source and licensed approach.
- Experience in Data analytics platforms deployments and usage.
- Experience in different DB systems (Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL, etc.).
- Experience in different storage systems on-prem (NAS/SDS/Hyperconverged Infrastructure) and Public cloud-based.
- Experience on mainstream frameworks/tools like Caffe, TensorFlow, Theano, PyTorch, R, Spark MLib, etc.
- Proficiency in C/C++/Python/Bash - Prior usage or experience with Intel tools like oneAPI, OpenVino, Analytics Zoo is a plus.
- Experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle.
- Enterprise IT experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on software development, operations, DevOps engineering, or systems architecture.
