Role Purpose

Responsible for leading and managing engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards. This role involves overseeing the technical aspects of the project, managing cross-functional teams, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects within the organization.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

Project Management: • Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budget constraints. • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, resources, schedules, and budgets, and ensure all projects are executed accordingly. • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management. • Oversee execution of all phases of the project, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met. • Coordinate with the project team to allocate resources efficiently and ensure timely completion of tasks. Technical Oversight and Problem Resolution: • Oversee the technical aspects of the project to ensure that engineering standards and specifications are met. • Identify and resolve project issues, risks, and challenges, implementing corrective actions as needed. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies. • Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality of work and compliance with technical standards. • Review engineering designs, technical specifications, and project documentation to confirm technical accuracy. • Address technical challenges promptly by coordinating with internal teams and external contractors.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline). Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE) is highly preferred.
