Roles and responsibilities
- Lead The DineOut squad, driving the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to feature roll out, for our customer/partner facing experience
- Leverage market research, industry trends and thorough understanding of our customers to define Careem’s product strategy in the DineOut space
- Lead and implement the DineOut product roadmap, including complex features with dependencies across the Super app, ensuring on time delivery and meaningful customer impact
- Cultivate productive relationships with peers across the organization to ensure alignment and delivery of a holistic, end-to-end user experience
- Exercise strong communication and nurture a culture of contributing, feedback, and product excellence
- Passion to do great things, and build the next big business for Careem in the Middle East

- Work 4 days a week in office & 1 day from home, and remotely from any country in the world for 30 days a year with unlimited vacation days per year. (If you are in an individual contributor role in tech, you will have 2 office days a week and 3 to work from home.)

- Product Strategy and Vision
- Define the product's long-term vision and align it with company goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities.
- Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key milestones.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Gather and prioritize requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate product goals and progress to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to bring the product to life.
- User-Centered Design
- Conduct user research and usability testing to understand customer pain points.
- Translate user feedback into actionable features and improvements.
- Ensure the product delivers an exceptional user experience (UX).
- Project Management
- Oversee the product development lifecycle, from concept to release.
- Break down initiatives into actionable tasks for engineering and design teams.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to meet deadlines.
- Performance Measurement
- Define success metrics (KPIs) to measure the product's performance.
- Analyze data and user behavior to identify areas for improvement.
- Use insights to refine the product roadmap and strategy.
- Go-to-Market Planning
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to plan product launches.
- Develop positioning and messaging for the product.
- Gather market feedback post-launch to iterate and improve.
