We are seeking to recruit a Project Officer for a fixed term of 10 weeks for our public sector client in D2. The role will be hybrid with a minimum of 1 day in the office. The Project Officer will report to the relevant Programme Manager within RSF. The position is available for 10 weeks, starting as soon as possible. Key responsibilities: The successful candidate will work in the International Cooperation, Evaluation and Targeted Programmes Unit where they will contribute to activities in support of the goals of the company strategy. Through a range of schemes and supports, this Unit takes a coordinated and strategic approach to our partnerships to deliver value for Ireland. We drive and develop targeted research programmes that deliver value for national health policy and service delivery users. The Unit is also responsible for coordination of evaluation activities for the company's funding portfolio to provide insights and evidence for strategic decisions and to improve visibility of the impact of our investments. The successful candidate will contribute to Directorate-wide goals to deliver excellence, quality, and impact in all we do and to ensuring open and responsible research assessment. The appointee will support peer review for the Applied Partnership Awards by working alongside an Project Officer who will manage the peer review process. The Project Officer role is team-based, therefore teamwork and effective collaboration with others are crucial. The successful candidate will: Review applications to the Applied Partnership Awards Identify appropriate peer reviewers for each application Work with Project Officers to ensure that sufficient peer reviewers are secured for each application Essential knowledge and experience: Formal requirements The successful candidate must have at least three years experience in a research environment, demonstrating strong technical expertise as well as analytical and organisational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and ability to work independently while contributing to a team are essential. Desirable criteria Prior experience in a research environment High degree of computer literacy, including knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook **Please note that this is a short term, full time contract for 10 weeks** Skills: Researcher Research
