Contracts Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote contract position, offering the flexibility and autonomy of working from anywhere. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful execution of our client projects by managing the entire contract lifecycle. Duties & Responsibilities:
Contract Lifecycle Management:
- Triaging and Queue Management: Prioritize incoming contract requests and manage the contract queue efficiently.
- Oversee all stages of the contract lifecycle, from drafting, query response and negotiation to execution and storage.
- Conduct contract reviews and quality assurance checks to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain standardized contract templates, playbooks and processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
Operational Excellence:
- Streamline contract administration processes, leveraging technology and automation where possible.
- Provide timely and accurate contract data and reporting to support business decisions.
- Identify negotiation trends to inform policy enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, legal, finance, product, project management) to ensure smooth contract execution.
Client Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and address potential contract issues and risks.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Continuously analyse contract data and identify areas for improvement in contract processes and procedures.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and legal developments in contract management.
- 4+ years of contracts management experience
- Previous experience in commercial contract operational roles, ideally within the legal or contract management function
- Tech-savvy with the ability to manage contract-related systems and processes efficiently
- Strong understanding of Commercial Contracting processes and experience with legal drafting and review
- Able to work across different teams and build strong relationships
- Experience with CLM and CRM systems a plus
