Qualified Accountant

Job Title: Qualified Accountant Location: South Dublin Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Qualified Accountant to join our client, an international Non-Life Insurance Group managing over a million policyholders. This is a permanent position with a hybrid working model of two days per week in the office. Reporting to the Head of Finance Operations, you will play a key role in supporting the company's transformation and project agenda. This role will involve process improvements, financial reporting, and collaboration across the wider business. Your Role: Supporting the transformation and project initiatives within the finance function. Identifying, designing, and implementing improvements to controls, processes, and procedures. Preparing financial reports for senior management. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders within the wider group. Assisting in financial and regulatory reporting, particularly during peak periods. Supporting internal and external audits and reviews. Assisting with the implementation and updates of IT solutions within finance. Handling ad-hoc finance tasks as required. Your Skills Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2+ years' post-qualification experience. Experience in insurance is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with experience in reporting/visualisation tools such as Power BI.
