We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic investment management team. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field and have 5-10 years of relevant experience within a financial institution in Saudi Arabia. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our investment operations processes. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the onboarding process for new DPM clients, coordinating with external parties such as banks, brokers, and custodians to ensure seamless integration of client accounts.
  2. Oversee and review daily trade bookings and settlement for equities, fixed income securities, and funds, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  3. Oversee and review daily corporate action processing, ensuring completeness and accuracy of corporate action booking.
  4. Oversee and review daily cash and holdings reconciliation, ensuring accuracy of client’s holdings and solving discrepancies promptly.
  5. Review and authorize money transfers related to payments, trade settlements, and corporate actions, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  6. Deliver performance reporting to institutional clients, including detailed attribution analysis, contribution analysis, and risk-adjusted return metrics.
  7. Oversee and review comprehensive month-end client reporting, including portfolio performance, holdings, transactions, and analytics ensuring accuracy.
  8. Oversee and review revenue and MIS reporting to finance department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  9. Lead and manage multiple IT projects aimed at optimizing operational processes, driving automation, and improving service delivery across the department.
  10. Contribute to the development and refinement of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  2. 5-10 years of experience in a similar middle-office role within a financial institution in Saudi Arabia.
  3. Knowledge of investment performance measurement and attribution.
  4. Knowledge of trade cycle of different asset types, specifically equities and SUKUKs.
  5. Proficiency in Advent Portfolio Exchange and Excel.
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  8. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
