Job Summary As a QC Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising the work of a number of teams. You should have enough technical expertise in the area, and knowledge of Quality policies & procedures to be able to provide advice and guidance on your particular specialization. You will supervise or give practical and ongoing guidance to more junior colleagues. You should have experience in infrastructure projects and construction projects, with the capability to conduct inspections and close all MIR, MAR, WIR, and PQ and audit the project. Job Relations Internal: QHSSE Division, Operation Team. External: Vendors, Subcontractors, Auditors, and Other Regulatory bodies. Reporting to QHSSE Manager, Project Manager. Gender Male. Industry Construction/Infrastructure Employment Type Full time Main Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Issue the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send non-conformance reports to the QC Supervisor.
  2. Check cable laying and cable identification.
  3. Perform all relevant loop checks.
  4. Execute inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site.
  5. Update as-built drawings.
  6. Perform punch-listing operations.
  7. Check power transformers, switchboards, accumulator batteries, socket outlets, and lighting systems.
  8. Perform visual inspections, dimensional tests, and check ratings and materials for connections.
  9. Perform tests of continuity and insulation resistance.
  10. Calibrate safety valves and instruments.
  11. Check installation of instruments.
  12. Perform functional tests of instruments and test communication functionalities.
  13. Witness the tests, controls, and inspections carried out.
  14. Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, and check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls, and inspections.
  15. Manage documents certifying tests, controls, and inspections.
  16. Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
Requirements Essential:
  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field with approval from SCE.
  2. Experience: 5 to 8 years proven experience in Quality Controlling, including hands-on experience on-site.
  3. ISO 9001:2015, 45001:2015 lead auditor is a must.
  4. Expert skills in Microsoft Office, focusing on Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  5. Experience in GCC is preferable.
  6. Area of Experience: experience in Infrastructure, Roads, and Superstructure is a must.
  7. Very good communication skills.
  8. Proficient Quality awareness.
  9. Strong presentation skills.
  10. Excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective negotiation & detail-oriented skills.
  11. Fluent in Arabic and English.
  12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  13. Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally.
Desirable:
  1. Experience of using ERP D 365 to fetch business information is an asset.
  2. Having an engineering background.
  3. Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment is an asset.
