On behalf of a leading F&B-focused hospitality company renowned for its diverse concepts, we are seeking a skilled Catering Operations Manager to lead their newly established division. Based in Riyadh, your primary responsibilities will include:

Department Setup & Launch:

  1. Collaborate with leadership to establish the catering department’s structure, workflows, and operational goals.
  2. Develop policies, procedures, and systems to ensure operational efficiency.

Operations Management:

  1. Oversee day-to-day catering operations, including event execution, logistics, and supply chain management.
  2. Ensure seamless coordination between kitchen, service, and delivery teams for high-quality catering services.

Team Leadership:

  1. Recruit, train, and manage a team of catering staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  2. Implement staff schedules to meet operational demands while optimizing labor costs.

Client Engagement:

  1. Collaborate with sales and account teams to understand client needs and translate them into exceptional catering experiences.
  2. Act as a point of contact for key clients during events, ensuring satisfaction and resolving issues.

Budget & Cost Management:

  1. Develop and manage the catering department’s budget, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  2. Monitor expenses and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation.

Quality & Compliance:

  1. Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and presentation across all catering events.
  2. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all stages of operations.

Vendor & Supply Chain Management:

  1. Source and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  2. Negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms for the department.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  1. Track operational KPIs and provide regular reports to senior management, identifying areas for improvement.
  2. Implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills
  1. Proven experience in operations management within the catering or hospitality industry with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
  3. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  4. In-depth knowledge of catering logistics, event planning, and food safety regulations.
  5. Financial acumen, including budgeting and cost management.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  7. Proficiency in operations management tools and software.
  8. A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
