We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Construction Manager - Tunnelling / Shaftworks to join our team! In this role you will manage all on-site field construction activities associated with the completion of a large project (typically a project having 2 to 5 million construction manhours or a total installed cost of $100 to $150 million). This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of one of the most transformative projects in Saudi Arabia's history. A visionary giga-project that aims to create a world-class entertainment, sports, and cultural destination, offering unparalleled experiences to visitors from around the globe. What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Manage the development and implementation of drill and blast plans.
  2. Manage the inspection and testing materials used in drilling and blasting/tunneling operations.
  3. Monitor and evaluate drilling and blasting processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
  4. Collaborate with the operations team to implement improvements in quality control procedures.
  5. Write construction specifications and prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials; interface with suppliers as required.
  6. Lead planning and delivery for the logistics transportation management of the program and ensure operational consistency across the program.
  7. Coordinate with other delivery partners, QIC, and all existing contractors, and future planned procurement of major contractors.
  8. Implement agreed strategies through delivery of PMP’s and other key documents in accordance with program requirements and accepted best practices.
  9. Lead the implementation and application of advanced principles, theories, and concepts, ensuring compliance and consistency across the delivery teams.
  10. Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
  11. Lead on unusually complex material and people transportation challenges and provide creative solutions in coordination with functional leads.
  12. Facilitate forming partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations impacted by the program.
  13. Assign work to employees, oversee, and track the completion of work assignments.
  14. Interview and select personnel for assignment as required.
  15. Maintain clear and concise work standards and goals; provide training and development; complete performance evaluations, conduct employee counselling, and take corrective action as necessary.
  16. Ensure adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  17. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  18. Participate in the development of job safety practices.
  19. Prepare the needed reports.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  1. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 15 years’ experience on construction projects, specifically working on tunnel/shaft projects and related under and overground infrastructure.
  3. Advantageous to have extensive experience of significant PM/CM contracts.
  4. Project Management Certified is a plus.
  5. Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
