QA/QC Manager - Multi Projects

QA/QC Manager Key Responsibilities: Worked on Multi Projects and has 10 years experience. Job description and main responsibilities: These shall include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Direct the preparation and implementation of the project QMS (quality management system)
2. Determine and establish quality objectives
3. Prepare and implement the quality plan and the subsequent QA/QC procedures
4. Review (continuous) of the quality management system and make adjustments as required
5. Review of contract(s) to identify any special quality requirements and advise appropriate departments
6. Conduct internal audits and follow-up with proper documentation and corrective actions
7. Interface with appropriate departments on problem resolution, NCR and changes
8. Planning and guidance of all QA/QC personnel
9. Implementation of a product quality control methodology
10. Continuous improvement of product quality
11. Follow-up of internal and external laboratory testing
12. Recording, filing and archiving of all QC records
13. Statistical interpretation of QC records
14. Actualizing product information sheets
15. Responsible for product quality budget control
16. Obtain quality accreditation according to national norms
17. Products complaints/claims management
18. Assure that adequate training of QC personnel is done to ensure optimum utilization of inspectors/lab technicians
19. Stimulate quality awareness and implications with all employees
20. Striving for continuous improvement of the implemented QMS
21. Assisting/advising quarry management in respect to quality related matters

Skills and competencies requirements:

1. Degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent
2. 7+ years experience as a senior QA/QC Manager within quarry environment
3. Work history that demonstrates increased levels of responsibility and leadership
4. Solid people management skills
5. Excellent organizational skills
6. Proven track record as an internal ISO 9001 auditor
7. Perfect English language skills (knowledge of Arabic language is an important asset)
8. Ability to work independently in remote location
9. Ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure
10. Ability to read, interpret and apply engineering drawing requirements
11. Excellent knowledge of applicable standards
12. Excellent level of PC skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Outlook, MS Visio)
