Industry Energy technology (IET) part of Baker Hughes Company operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value-chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our mechanical Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors and expanders. “Please note this role is to pipeline for future openings” Partner with the best As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Preparing and releasing work instructions detailing assembly/packaging operations and development of packaging processes and procedures.
Designing and validating manufacturing tooling/fixtures.
Providing electro-mechanical support to the production floor.
Creating product routings within the ERP system, Quality Control sheets, and manufacturing forms.
Supporting all aspects of pre-production and post-launch production through to project closure.
Influencing design to ensure new designs are optimized for manufacture, performance, yield, and cost.
Leading process mapping activities to identify manufacturing risks and optimize build/test processes.
Providing dedicated technical support to the packaging operations, providing quick and effective solutions to daily production issues.
Supporting new product introductions and custom product NCR resolution.

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have a bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in compressors or Manufacturing Engineering.
Have experience in rotating equipment.
Have fluency in English and Arabic.

Desired Characteristics

Have packaging experience for compressors or turbine trains.
Familiar with lifting plans for heavy items.
Have experience and a high level of technical expertise and skill to plan, design, set up, modify, optimize, and monitor manufacturing processes.
Have strong oral and written communication skills.
Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
Have proven analytical and organizational ability.
