About the Role: As the Chief People Officer, you will be a trusted adviser and strategic partner, responsible for delivering the People and Culture Plan. This role involves leading a team of up to 50 professionals across key areas such as Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, People Operations, Work, Health, Safety & Wellbeing, and Culture & Inclusion. You’ll provide expert leadership on compliance, governance, and industrial matters, particularly around wage Awards, safety regulations, and workplace legislation, ensuring the university adheres to best practices. Collaborating with the Senior Executive, you will develop strategies to meet workforce needs and enhance ECU’s organisational culture, ensuring a positive and safe environment for all employees. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a diverse team across various HR functions.
- Ensure compliance with workplace legislation and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance organisational culture.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align workforce strategies with institutional goals.
