Job Title: Oracle EBS Data Migration Engineer Location: Manchester (Remote - 1 day per week onsite) Rate: Market rate Contract Length: Initial 6 months (+ extensions) Clearance: BPSS required The Role: We're seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Data Migration Engineer to join a high-profile project with a leading systems integrator in the MALS (Manufacturing, Automotive, Logistics, and Supply Chain) sector. You'll play a key role in migrating data from legacy systems into Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) , focusing on modules like Oracle Projects and Oracle Supply Chain . This is a hands-on technical role requiring expertise in data mapping, transformation, and validation. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data extraction, cleansing, and transformation from legacy systems into Oracle EBS.
- Use SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, and Open Interfaces for data migration.
- Ensure data integrity through validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution .
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution.
- Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and project teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions .
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS data migration , particularly in Oracle Projects and Supply Chain modules .
- Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle APIs .
- Experience with data mapping and transformation (CV040 documentation is a plus).
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data migration best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Work with a globally recognised systems integrator on a high-impact project.
- Flexible working arrangement: mostly remote with only 1 day per week onsite in Manchester .
