Chief Financial Officer - Baptist World Aid For commencement March / April 2025 or by negotiation Baptist World Aid Australia is an international Christian development organisation working in 24 countries. Based in Sydney, the purpose of this role is to provide financial leadership, stewarding the financial resources of Baptist World Aid, including the leadership of the International Programming finance. The role will ensure sound financial reporting, compliant management, business partnering, and monitoring occur. A strong and trusted business partner to the Senior Leadership Team and CEO, the role leads a high-performing finance team, aligned with the organisation's vision, strategy, and plans. Applicants will have:
- Postgraduate qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Senior management experience in a similar role
- Team contributor - in a small hands-on Executive team
- Demonstrated strong financial, business partnering, and project management skills
- Excellent management skills, including the ability to coach managers and develop staff
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated capacity to present financial reports to the Board
- Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., Netsuite, Xero, Quickbooks, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
