Weight Engineer

Weight Engineer – 6-Month FEED Contract (Oil & Gas) – UK-Based Are you an experienced Weight Engineer with a strong track record in FEED projects within the offshore oil & gas sector to play a key role in weight management for a critical project. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain weight management plans, weight control reports, and CoG calculations for offshore projects.
• Track, monitor, and control weight throughout all project phases.
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to optimise weight and ensure compliance with design limits.
• Provide technical guidance on weight-related issues and propose solutions to mitigate risks.
• Conduct weight impact assessments for modifications and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support project teams with weight surveys and audits for offshore structures.
• Utilise weight management software and tools to track and report on weight trends.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and codes such as ISO, API, and DNV.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field (preferably Structural Engineering).
• 10+ years’ experience in project delivery within offshore oil & gas / energy.
• Proven expertise in weight control and CoG analysis for offshore projects.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.

• This role requires candidates to be UK-based and have the right to work in the UK.
• Immediate availability or a short notice period is preferred.
