The Opportunity We're seeking a hands-on entrepreneur to join our founding team and lead our growth initiatives. This role is for someone who thrives on execution – you'll be personally driving our marketing strategy, conducting sales calls with principals, and building our customer base from the ground up. While your role encompasses high-level strategy, you'll also be the one implementing these strategies day-to-day. Compensation Structure This is a true co-founder position with significant equity ownership. Instead of a traditional salary, you'll earn through the company's revenue and growth - your success is directly tied to TaughtLab's success. We believe in building sustainable growth and sharing the rewards among those who create value. What You'll Own - Developing and personally executing our go-to-market strategy
- Building our customer acquisition channels from scratch
- Leading all marketing initiatives, from content creation to campaign execution
- Managing the full sales cycle with educational institutions
- Creating and nurturing strategic partnerships
- Gathering direct feedback from educators to inform our product development
- Crafting and implementing our brand strategy
Who We're Looking For Someone who: - Takes pride in rolling up their sleeves and doing the work themselves
- Has proven experience in direct customer acquisition and relationship building
- Brings a builder's mindset and thrives in early-stage environments
- Can seamlessly switch between strategy and tactical execution
- Has experience in B2B sales and marketing
- Demonstrates strong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision making
- Excels at both verbal and written communication
Ideal Experience - Track record of successful customer acquisition in B2B environments
- Experience building marketing and sales processes from scratch
- History of hands-on growth achievement in early-stage environments
- Experience in K-12 education sector is a plus
- Understanding of the Australian education landscape is valuable
Location Preferably based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for other locations within Australia. Some travel may be required for in-person meetings with educational institutions. What Success Looks Like - Building and executing a scalable growth strategy
