Dermatologist

Salary range: CI$163,164 - CI$189,204 per annum The Dermatologist provides a quality patient-centered medical service at the Cayman Islands Hospital, Grand Cayman.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

1. Diagnose, treat, and help prevent disease or other conditions of the skin.
2. Provide a 24-hour dermatology medical service and regular dermatology outpatient clinics.
3. Provide inpatient services, including managing patients and consults as necessary.
4. Give specialty advice to, or accept cases referred by Faith Hospital.
5. Perform dermatologic surgery and interventions as the case demands.
6. Work closely with colleagues in other disciplines.
7. Participate in strategic healthcare planning of medical services.
8. Establish an ongoing educational program for junior physicians within the department.

Qualifications & Experience:

The successful candidate must possess FRCP, DM or equivalent in Dermatology and have at least 3 years’ postgraduate experience in the dermatology specialty. Must be eligible to acquire registration to practice in the Cayman Islands. Must have a current license in one of the seven recognized jurisdictions: New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, USA, Canada, Jamaica, or United Kingdom.
