Salary commensurate with skills and experience ($80-$105k).

We are one of the largest Managed IT Providers in North Queensland, specializing in delivering high-quality IT services to our diverse client base. About the Role

We're on the hunt for highly versatile technicians with a current technology skillset to join the dynamic TJ Microsystems team in our Cairns office.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supporting basic and complex network types ranging from 5 to 200+ users.
2. Supporting Microsoft 365, Windows Server & Desktop Technologies & Cloud Environments.
3. Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, and optimizing networks, applications, Servers, and Workstations.
4. Configuration and installation of routers, firewalls, network switches, local/network printer scanners, and Wireless Access Points.
5. Network Security analysis and design.
6. Assessing and recommending improvements on client's IT Network environments.
7. Updating and creation of IT documentation including Disaster Recovery planning, IT Systems guidelines, and procedures.
8. Design and integration of network and IT systems including third-party applications.
9. Provision of advice and strategic IT Planning for IT Infrastructure.
10. Occasionally work outside of usual business hours to accommodate client support needs.

Minimum Requirements

Ideal Candidates for this role should have:

1. 2+ years experience across design, implementation, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Server & 365 network environments.
2. Experience in implementation projects, networking, virtualization in a managed IT services environment.
3. Equivalent Bachelor Degree or Higher and other industry qualifications are an advantage.
4. Self-motivated with good time management skills and a positive attitude.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and fluent English.
6. Current Australian Drivers License.
