Co-Founder : Applied Physics and Signal Processing Specialist We are seeking a co-founder in applied physics and signal processing to join us at our Adelaide office on either a part-time or full-time basis. This role may also be performed remotely, offering flexibility for the right candidate. About Us At Oversight, we are developing a fall detection device that does not require wearables, cameras, or complicated installation. We are partnered with Protego Medical and have secured pre-orders from Southern Cross Care for January 2026. The aged care industry is a growing market, driven by Australia's aging population and the $6 billion independent living sector, which is projected to expand further. Advances in technology, along with government funding and partnership opportunities, make this sector highly accessible for innovation. Oversight Systems is well-positioned to capitalise on this growth with its unique, easy-to-use fall detection solution. Responsibilities

1. Algorithm Development: Design and optimise signal processing algorithms to detect motion and falls with precision and efficiency.
2. Research and Innovation: Conduct research in applied physics and signal processing to enhance the accuracy and reliability of detection systems.
3. Data Analysis: Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful patterns and develop actionable insights for system improvements.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, data scientists, and product developers, to integrate solutions seamlessly.
5. Prototyping and Testing: Lead the design, implementation, and testing of prototypes to validate system performance under diverse conditions.
6. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on advancements in signal processing and related technologies to ensure the product remains cutting-edge.
7. Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction on technical challenges and contribute to the company’s long-term vision.
