About Your New Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with Applications Experience for a long-term contract with a view to extend. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business analysis, coupled with extensive experience in managing and optimizing applications to support business operations and strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, leveraging application solutions.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to design, implement, and maintain applications that meet business needs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making processes.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure application functionality and performance meet requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of applications.
- Monitor and report on application performance, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in application technologies to recommend best practices and innovative solutions.
About You - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on applications.
- Experience of working in project teams within the critical infrastructure space.
- Strong understanding of business processes and application lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
