Individual Consultant for Technical Stack Development for Karandaaz Development Impact Function Position: Individual Consultant Reporting Line: Head Development Impact Duration of Assignment: 8 weeks TOR issuance date: February 12, 2025 Profile submission date: February 19, 2025 Expected Start Date: March 1, 2025 Expected End Date: May 1, 2025 Karandaaz Pakistan promotes financial inclusion of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and individuals through a commercially directed investment platform and by employing technology enabled digital solutions. The company has financial and institutional support from leading international development institutions. Objectives of the Consultancy The Development Impact (DI) team intends to develop a comprehensive technical stack to support the automation and integration of data for periodic monitoring and reporting. The objectives of the assignment are:

1. Data Integration and Automation: Integrate multiple data sources into a dashboard for a unified view of key metrics.
2. Design and Development of a Custom Dashboard: Refine current tools and create an interactive dashboard using an analytics platform (e.g., Power BI or Tableau).
3. Enhanced Decision-Making Capabilities: Provide a tool for stakeholders to make informed decisions based on accurate data.

Scope of Work

1. Needs Assessment: Conduct meetings with Karandaaz DI to understand specific requirements for the dashboard.
2. Data Integration, Automation, and Dashboard Design: Integrate relevant data sources and develop a dynamic dashboard.
3. Development of Dynamic Dashboard for Analytics: Create dashboards with interactive features for enhanced user experience.
4. Testing and Validation: Conduct testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of the dashboard.
5. Training and Documentation: Provide training sessions and develop user manuals for the dashboard.

Evaluation Criteria, Experience and Skills of Consultant The Technical Evaluation Committee will use the following metrics of experience and skills:

1. Experience in developing, integrating, and implementing business intelligence tools and data dashboards.
2. Proven track record with analytics platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
3. Familiarity with monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) processes.
4. Understanding of financial services and SME financing.
5. Demonstrated ability to handle full project lifecycle.

Deliverables and Timelines The technical stack development is expected to span approximately 8 weeks followed by 6 months of support. Key milestones include:

1. Stage 1: Review and Needs Assessment (Weeks 1-2)
2. Stage 2: Data Integration, Automation, and Dashboard Design (Weeks 2-5)
3. Stage 3: Final Toolkits, Dashboard, and Documentation (Weeks 5-8)
