Vhi Group Services have a full time permanent vacancy for the role of Senior Business Analyst based in either Dublin or Kilkenny on a hybrid basis..The successful candidate will be instrumental to the successful planning and implementation of a range of projects in Group Technology Change Delivery They will lead and support the investigation, analysis, documentation and implementation of new capabilities, applications systems, and upgrades of existing systems within Vhi. The Senior Business analyst will act as an agent of change within Vhi, liaising with a variety of stakeholders including internal stakeholders, external 3rd parties and clinical staff. Role purpose Support Programs/initiatives in implementing best-in-class analysis and requirement elicitation in both agile and waterfall methodologies. Build strong relationships to enable delivery of GT initiatives. Raise risks, issues, dependencies, and conflicts and propose solutions. Plan and drive requirements elicitation workshops ensuring there is quality documentation with formal agreement from stakeholders on scope/requirements. Assist stakeholders, in prioritising their requirements for large complex activities. Manage the definition and execution of new business processes and business process improvements. Perform root cause analysis of problems, conduct feasibility studies and lead workshops with business users to identify and translate needs into user stories/ requirements. Apply standards within project tooling and contribute to continuous improvement of Jira and Atlassian for requirements practice. Develop model and diagrams to represent and communicate process flows and data requirements. Foster strong collaborative relationships with our development and test team members. During production release collaborate with internal stakeholders, to ensure a smooth transition to the new systems and processes. Support end users during all phases of testing to ensure requirements/user stories are clearly understood, delivered and are ready for release. Support reporting and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement. Contribute to the Requirements Practice by participating in continuous improvement working groups and producing content for members of the community. Key Criteria Education and experience Minimum 5 years relevant work experience as a business analyst, ideally in a lead role with demonstrated experience of business analysis in a programmatic setting. A relevant degree would be an advantage. 3 or more years experience implementing commercial off the shelf software on behalf of a clientwould be advantage. Certifications in Business Analysis andAgile technologies will be highly regarded. Relevant project experience in discovery, analysis, and requirement/user story development. Interpersonal skills Proven experience as an agile, dynamic, outcomes focused team member. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven influencing experience with all levels of stakeholders. Proven ability to motivate and engage the project team in delivering on tasks. Advanced analytical and innovative problem-solving skills. Aptitude to learn quickly and apply knowledge across different contexts.
