Textile Designer (Customer Development)

Swadeshi Silks is looking for a textile designer to join our design team to handle customer development. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, and the capacity to take the initiative and prioritize everyday responsibilities. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multifaceted role.  Responsibilities:

• Regular interactions with customers regarding design development and colourations.
• Working on design development and colourwork received from the customer daily.
• Following up on client requests and meeting deadlines.
• Preparation for customer visits and meetings.
• Working together with vendors and the factory.
• Archiving of artworks purchased and images from each collection.
• Researching and digitizing market trends, customer feedback, and sales data to forecast product requirements.
• Coordination between the design studio, sampling, and administrative teams.
• Working as part of a design team and developing new designs as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Textile design.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office suite.
