Financial Accountant- D24/Charity

My client a not for profit in Dublin 24 have an immediate vacancy for an Accountant. 2 days office based and 3 from home. Role reports to Finance Manager and Senior Leadership team. Key task will include: *Prepare monthly management accounts and forecasts and weekly cash-flows *Support the preparation of the annual budget in collaboration with the Finance Manager *Monitor and control budget lines on a monthly basis, specifically addressing budget variances and calling any issues to the attention of the Finance Manager *Preparation of the year end management accounts *Manage the deferred income, receivables, control accounts, recharges, IBB and supporting records *Preparation of budgets for grant and funding applications *Prepare financial returns for all relevant funding bodies *Keep up to date with all current accountancy practices i.e., Charity Law, Charities SORP *Attendance at Finance and Risk Committee meetings as required The ideal candidate will be: *Qualified- ACA, ACCA, CIMA *At least 2- 3 years previous experience in a similar role *Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience Contact Natasha Bevan today for more information #LI-NB1 Skills: "Qualified Accountant" "Financial Accountant" "Accountant"
