Senior Accountant

BenchMark are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a background in practice to join our client in Co Meath. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients across various business sectors, offering exposure to a range of assignments, including financial reporting, tax compliance, and auditing. Reporting to senior management, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high-quality client service and delivering accurate financial information. The Role: Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. Preparation of financial statements for companies and individuals, from inception to completion. Preparation and submission of personal, corporate, and capital tax returns. Production of monthly management accounts, providing insights for business decisions. Conducting audits for small and medium-sized businesses. Ensuring company secretarial compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements. Providing support and guidance to junior team members and trainees. Requirements: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent). A minimum of 2 years' PQE within an accountancy practice. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience using accountancy software, with knowledge of platforms such as Relate/Surf being advantageous.
