Job Title: Solutions Architect (Senior) Location: Cork, Ireland (Minimum 2 days onsite with Remote Working policy, additional days may be required depending on business needs. It is anticipated that Resources will provide the services on a full-time basis for the duration of the contract. The Resource will be required to provide the services for 8 hours per day (excluding lunches or rest periods) Monday – Friday (excluding public holidays in the Republic of Ireland) between the hours of 08:00 and 19:00.) Contract / Permanent: 12 Months with further extension. Role: The Client’s Applications Development Division is now seeking to procure the services of one Solutions Architect to augment the existing client’s Applications Development team. The Solutions/Systems Architect will play a pivotal role in the Digital Data Collection for Enterprise project, overseeing the architectural design and implementation of a comprehensive, integrated data collection and processing system. This position requires a deep understanding of metadata-driven systems, systems integration, and international best practices in digital data collection. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, provide technical leadership, and ensure the project's architecture aligns with business and technical requirements to deliver a world-class, user-centric solution. Experience Level Required: It is a mandatory requirement that the Resource proposed for this Role have the equivalent of senior level experience.

• Has at least 7 years of extensive professional experience as a Full Stack Developer / Solutions Architect.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Key Deliverables:

• Description: A comprehensive framework outlining the system architecture, including models, schemas, and flow diagrams. A focus on detailing and designing for non-functional system attributes (scalability, reliability, performance security). Design for security (encryption, least privilege access, user onboarding).
• Purpose: Provides a blueprint for data management and integration across the organization.

Integration Solutions:

• Description: Implemented ETL processes, data pipelines, and integration solutions.
• Purpose: Ensures seamless data flow and integration from various sources into the central management system.

Metadata Repository and Documentation:

• Description: A centralized repository of metadata, including lineage, standards, and definitions that support the collect once model and also supports the interactions for managing respondents.
• Purpose: Supports governance, quality, and discoverability.

Governance Policies and Procedures:

• Description: Documented policies and procedures for governance, including quality checks and compliance measures.
• Purpose: Ensures data consistency, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Technical Documentation:

• Description: Detailed documentation of designs, implementation processes, and technical specifications.
• Purpose: Provides a reference for ongoing maintenance and future projects.

Security and Compliance Assessments:

• Description: Reports and documentation on security measures, risk assessments, and compliance with regulations.
• Purpose: Ensures data protection and regulatory adherence.

Optimized Data Workflows:

• Description: Enhanced and optimized data processing workflows and ETL processes.
• Purpose: Improves efficiency, reduces errors, and enhances overall management capabilities.

Experience/Competencies/Skillsets:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in architecture, management, or related roles with recent proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale architectures. Recent Experience in Architectural Standards such as TOGAF (or alternative) and Certification in Solutions Architecture an advantage.
• Recent experience in cloud practices and delivery and cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of CRM platforms and expertise in the integration, customization and implementation of CRM systems.
• Proficiency in modelling, database design, and integration techniques and a strong knowledge of management tools and technologies, including ETL tools, warehousing, and big data platforms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R, C#, with recent experience in Software design patterns such as Gang of Four or similar Enterprise Integration Patterns and recent experience with communication protocols across application tiers.
• In addition, the candidate should have recent experience with metadata management, governance, and quality frameworks and demonstrate familiarity with privacy regulations and security best practices.
• The candidate must display excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, leadership, and project management capabilities.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
